INTERNATIONAL AIRCRAFT OWNERS & PILOTS
ASSOCIATIONs
Applicable International Flight Procedures include:
CBP
- CBP requires advance notice
of arrival to CBP at the airport of entry. Even though
flight plan notification service is available, pilots should
contact CBP directly. ETA notification is the pilot's responsibility.
Failure to do so violates CBP regulations and will result
in a severe penalty.
- Prior permission to land at
a landing rights airport must be obtained from CBP.
- To assure timely inspection
in all states, CBP requests that all calls (advance notices
of arrival), regardless of when service is required, be
made during regular business hours indicated.
